It took me several minutes to find this wiki without the direct link from your thread explaining the wiki hybrid concept. I see what you mean, when there is discussion, the wiki post moves to the top, but really it stays buried under other discussions the rest of the time. I think comprehensive material should stay in one place to best serve its purpose as a summary reference. Maybe in a “wikis only” category, or a “project summaries” archive.

Also, if I wanted to contribute to your controllers list, I can’t actually edit your post. So now, if someone is looking for a comprehensive list, he/she will have to read your list, ignore my comment, then look for additions to the list further down.

Can someone explain what the differences are between the Eachine FCs that are based on NAZE32 vs EVO vs CC3D? I have no idea what that means and why I should choose one over another.

For example, Eachine 32bit ACRO NAZE32_BRUSH is very attractively priced at under $10 right now. It can be flashed with Betaflight and can be configured to run 2S and can power 6 motors so you can even build a brushed hexacopter if you want to.

Why would someone select this Eachine 32bits F3 Brushed Flight Control Board Based On SP RACING F3 EVO that seems to have the exact same features as the NAZE32 one?

Thanks Chrisdo, now I’ve worked it out, mine has come with 3.1.6 (NAZE) also. My last one was running 3.1.7, but this feels just as good as my last one. so won’t be treading the problematic upgrade path, I’m happy. Cheers.
