This Pedr👽Wii brushless FC is based on both the AlienWii and AlienFlight Classic Narrow brushed FC’s. I finally got around to assembling the first PedroWii brushless FC yesterday, It came out of the oven with only one solder bridge on the USB socket but I had a lot of trouble flashing the bootloader and then the sketch that Gary kindly provided me with a while back. Also the buck boost is getting pretty hot but in spite of that I couldn’t wait to connect it up and see if it works or not. Patience has never been one of my virtues Brushless_Pedr👽Wii Breathes

the cli dump didn’t fix my problem either. I don’t know what is the issue. I think the board may be bad.

Good question @boomtown.

@Justynkace, If the FC is taking the firmware flash and it connects to CF and responds to everything but the Tx inputs, something is wrong with the Sat Rx or the circuitry for the Sat. Have you used this Sat Rx successfully on another quad? Have you tried a different sat Rx and what type of Sat Rx are you using? The LM0001 is the prefered dsm2/dsmx RX that most of us use.

I know the sat is good. I have tried the lemonrx sat and a spektrum dsmx sat, both work on my naze32 and sp racing f3, but this alienf3 is not working.

not sure if I’m in the right place.
I have a alien 5v card and it flys great except for front flips.
If i try to back flip i can get a tight controlled flip or double flip.
Foreward flip it spins like crazy for 4 flips uncontrollably then recovers control.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is an 8bit FC then this thread is probably more active these days.

On any 8bit AlienWii and AlienFlight cards, you can get erratic behaviour if you rates are too high apparently.

So I turn the rates down to 1.0 and it’s OK I’m going to try to get a tighter flip with no freak out,
but if I can’t I’m still satisfied!
